The ICAO gliding chart 1:500,000 is the first official aviation chart that fulfils the wishes and needs of glider pilots. With its clear topographical representation and up-to-date air traffic control information, it offers more safety and flexibility in gliding.
The glider map also fulfils the special needs of aerodrome, cross-country and competition glider pilots and, in addition to all the important topography and air traffic control information of the ICAO aeronautical chart, also has the following features:
• Altitude information on airspaces in metres and feet
• Highlighting of gliding areas and aerodromes with gliding operations
• Altitude information on airfields and obstacles in metres
• Display of gliding sectors in C/D and TMZ airspaces
• Display of intensively used parachute jumping areas (parachute jump symbol plus red circle)

The ICAO gliding chart provides the following information on the reverse side in addition to an overview map of the sheet section:
• Overview of Germany's airspace structure
• Information on transponder and altimeter settings
• ATIS and VOLMET frequencies
• Light signals & integrated coordinate ruler
Surcharge for foil cover per chart 3 Euro
For ICAO glider charts Germany (with and without foil, also mixed with ICAO charts) we are allowed to grant a discount of 10 % for orders of at least 20 pieces and a discount of 20 % for orders of 50 pieces or more
The discount is not shown in the shopping basket when ordering different maps, but is deducted when the invoice is issued.
