Version with Bluetooth connection
The Clarity Aloft earphones are used to improve both hearing protection and voice communication. Each earpiece contains a miniature speaker that reproduces voice signals from the aircraft audio system. The replaceable, compliant foam tips (Comply ™ Canal Tips) attached to the earpiece contain a pathway for sound to travel from the transducer to the ear. Both components of the earphone, the transducer and the Comply Canal Tips, used by the military for helicopter pilots, have been tested, rigorously deployed and meet the most stringent military standards.
Special LINK-functions:
The headset is placed in a headband on the back of the neck, with the supports of the headband around the ear cup and microphone yarn on the left side. Ideal for pilots with helmets or leather caps, it is virtually unnoticeable. In contrast to the classic ear cup headset, the ears do not sweat because they are uncovered.
Replaceable foam tips
The superior seal is achieved with our patented Comply™ Canal Tips, which are used in high-end hearing aids. These viscoelastic foam tips provide the highest level of hearing protection available in any method, including active noise reduction. (ANR) Excellent noise reduction (35-45 dB) at speech frequencies between 400 and 4,000 Hz results in unrivalled clarity of speech communication. The foam tips resemble foam earplugs and are so comfortable because they mould to the shape of the ear. Considerable sound scientific history underpins their impressive performance. The noise cancelling microphone used in the Clarity Aloft headset is a high fidelity electret condenser noise cancelling microphone with performance optimised for speech frequencies in extremely high noise environments. Stage performers and musicians use the same microphone because they insist on the highest level of sound reproduction.
Low-profile headband
With its flexible boom arm, this featherweight headband is the same one used by stage musicians and professional artists around the world. Balance and comfort are the result of its elegantly simple design.
