Products description
The TOP rescue parachute, prefabricated.
Steerable rescue parachute with low sink rate, no life span limitation, 12 months packing and inspection interval, extremely comfortable, chic, very variable design, with all metal parts in high quality stainless steel.
The glider can be steered very well, but is also extremely easy to land when not steered due to the low sink rate. A video of a landing by a heavy pilot without steering intervention can be seen here.
The glider is manufactured individually for you and is of the highest quality. In addition to the colours for the harness and container, there are also the options of, for example, choosing the colour of the sewing thread, defining individual segments in the container material separately in terms of colour, and the closures can also be changed at no extra charge. If there are any wishes in this respect, please contact us and we will be happy to clarify the details.
For use in a cross-country glider, where normally a lying position (without a specially shaped parachute shell) is taken, the glider is available in the "long version" at no extra charge with a wedge-shaped extension, firmly attached and padded at the bottom. This provides additional support for the lower back between the seat pad and the parachute. The "normal version" is without the described extension.
Notes on the back cushion version:
The comfortable memory foam back cushion is 40mm thick. It is very soft and is compressed to approx. 20 - 30% of its empty thickness when used in the aircraft.
