Nitto No. 21A is a truly soft masking tape. No fillers are used in the production of this PVC tape. This results in excellent elongation properties. A good balance of adhesive strength, peel strength and film flexibility results in easy handling and perfect sealing. This prevents the ingress of water and increases the chemical and electrical resistance as well as the pliability of the tape.
Nitto No. 21A has a thick backing (total tape thickness is 190µm) and is the ideal tape for a wide range of applications. Thanks to its good resistance to ageing and weathering, the tape is ideally suited for tough outdoor use. It is also resistant to oils, acids and bases.
