Easy to operate
Another outstanding feature of the IC-A16E is its easy one-handed operation, thanks to the combination of the particularly small and lightweight housing of the ICOM IC-A16E with clearly labeled large buttons and robust rotary knob. The keypad and display are backlit for easy operation even at night.

Long battery life
The modern 7.2V Li-Ion battery allows up to 17 hours of normal use.
