This parachute has 5 cross rings of 140 mm width, it falls at all rope pull-in speeds almost without twisting. This prolongs the service life of steel ropes considerably, because a twisted rope puts more strain on individual rope components than on others. These then tend to break and contribute to premature failure.
The 10 suspension lines are made of 25 mm wide webbing with a tensile strength of approx. 2000 kg each.
The diameter of the cap when open is approx. 1500 mm in the small version for plastic ropes, approx. 2000 mm in the version for steel ropes, the length in each case 1000 mm. The length of the lines is 3000 mm. The lines should always be collected in a triangular shackle at the top and bottom, which can be ordered as an option.
During use, the parachute should be checked for wear, especially on the lines.
The strength of the lines is such that they can still transmit sufficient tractive force at approx. 50% wear.
The material is weather-resistant polyester or nylon fibres, but the parachute should be air-dried after heavy exposure to moisture to avoid mildew stains. The use of hot air equipment is not permitted and can easily damage the material.
For the use of the leader rope with accessories such as predetermined breaking points, ring pairs, sheathing as well as the lengths, the regulations of the SBO must be observed.
The optional set of triangular shackles consists of 2 pieces, load capacity 45 kN.
