This finger pulse oximeter is perfect for pilots: small, light and accurate.

As every person has a different physical constitution, it is all the more important to check the oxygen saturation level in the blood for flights above approx. 3000m in order to be able to react in good time to an impending impairment due to a lack of oxygen. You can also read off your current pulse rate.

It is only used for information and monitoring of these values and is not a substitute for the legally prescribed oxygen supply for high-altitude flights. For reasons of measurement accuracy, do not allow the device to cool below 0°C. At lower temperatures, it is helpful to keep it in your jacket pocket, for example, between measurements.

Care must be taken to ensure that the device only works reliably within the specified temperature range. Appropriate precautions must be taken at extreme temperatures.
Furthermore, the measured values can only be interpreted correctly to a limited extent if the fingers are very cold.
