The ATR833S is the successor to the well-known ATR500 aeronautical radio. It supports the reduced channel spacing of 8.33 kHz. The ATR833S is a completely new development with state-of-the-art digital signal processing. The result is an audible leap in the quality of voice transmission. One innovation is the extremely lightweight plastic housing developed in collaboration with the affiliated company f.u.n.k.e. PLASTICS GmbH, which reduces the weight.
