DeutschTow Bar 205cm - Heavy Gliders
This tow bar for heavy aircraft does not lift the tail of the aircraft, but the tail rides behind the towing vehicle on the tail dolly. The bar pulls and controls the direction at the same time. Reversing, e.g. for manoeuvring in front of the trailer, is also possible with this without any problems.
The tow bar is connected to the spur dolly by a robust steel tube with pull-out protection. To assemble/disassemble the tow bar, lift the bar upwards by approx. 45 degrees and then pull it out of the Spornkuller adapter.
The pole is telescopic and folds up quickly and easily for transport. You simply press the button and push the aluminium profile together. The pole is made of anodised and hardened aluminium, the parts subject to heavy loads are made of galvanised steel. The Spornkuller needs to be modified before use - you install the supplied connection adapter with hinge tube between the Spornkuller GRP body and wheel bracket.
The dimensions of the holes for the screws correspond to the standardised dimensions of the wheel consoles, the adapter fits all common Spornkuller with 200mm diameter of the wheel very well.
