The leg straps are led to the front through soft and high-strength loops crosswise upwards (see illustration) and hooked in the chest area with carabiner buckles.
This means that there is no belt buckle in the pelvic area, which with the standard belt version can lead to unpleasant pressure points when it is necessary to buckle up tightly with the aircraft belts, especially with negative G-loads.
This design has become very popular with aerobatic pilots in powered flight and gliding.
